Day 10: Na Trang - Ninh Vân
70 km / 43 mi
Scuba classes and healing sprained ankle.
Ninh Vân is a beach area just north of the city very near to a National Park. The road is a bit rough but beautiful, and the area is very quiet with only a small village nestled away from the city. Vietnam Backpackers chain has a Resort-style hostel located here.
Day 11: Ninh Vân
Day spent enjoying the beach! Quán nhậu cà phê is the only restaurant in the area and definitely off the beaten path. We spent hours enjoying cheap, delicious food from a table on the beach.
Day 12: Ninh Vân
Unfortunately I re-sprained my ankle, so we will be extending our stay in Ninh Vân for it to heal enough to put me back on a motorbike.
We spent the day at the Ninhvana Spa, and got pampered for hours. So much fun!
Day 13: Ninh Vân
Today we took a kayaking and cliff jumping tour. Even with a sprained ankle, we got to put the drone and go pro to use while jumping into the Bien Dong Sea.
Day 14: Ninh Vân - Qui Nhon
190 km / 118 mi
It looks like it will rain all week, but we are pushing to arrive in Hoi An before my birthday in a few days. This four hour drive was mostly in the pouring rain, but with the right gear we didn’t have any difficulties.
The drive was beautiful, along the coast the entire way with views of harbors, rice paddies, and mountains. Since I cannot (will not) take photos while I drive, so many of these beautiful sights will just have to live in my memories.
